I installed a stage to cp-3 from industrial injection and now the truck doesnt idle right, idles down then dies, if you get on it, it will keep running, but surges, maintains constant 25 psi of inlet, runs the same with or without tst, will not fuel even when tst is on 9x9, i think the fca is stuck, throws high rail pressure code when at idle, throws low rail pressure code under load, sounds like the fca is stuck open enough to cause high rail pressure at low idle, but not open enough at load to maintain rail pressure, what do you guys think ???? i tried to remove the fca but whoever installed it really torqued it down, after i stripped the first bolt i stopped before causing any further damage, i tapped on the fca with a wrench and now it runs good enough to drive, but it surges and wont fuel with any box..... i just got done installing the engine it was a valve seat gone bad and that is why it was out, i replaced pistons and head,,,,????????? :{

yep the fca is bad i have had the same problem before call II they will make it right for sure, be very carefull with those bolts, they will strip and never come off, it sucks but its best to take it off the truck to replace the fca, that way you can get the fca off with out stripping the bolts
