Well I just wanted to brag a lil bit... . Here is my cp3 from Industrial Injection... . I will not install it until I get a Turbo, I will order it this week and hopefully install in a few weeks... Wes

Just came out... Brady said I would have one of the first ones... I have been waiting on it to be ready since Jan...

I can't believe your stacking all those fueling boxes with 90 hp injectors and no turbo yet?
I just did my turbo today, (HTB2 62/14) only a few miles on it but so far I am impressed.
It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be though. Do yourself a big favor and get a manifold too. It was pain leaving the stock manifold in (budget didn't allow doing both). Also get the turbo oil drain hose for the 600, it's flexible and should make the install easier.

Thanks for the advice... Were do I get the turbo drain hose for the 600?? I want to leave the stock manifold because I plan upgrading to twins later then I will buy a manifold twin manifolds are different than 3rd gen manifilds... I know I have been trying to save the cabbage for a turbo for months... . I have always kept my egts in check never let them get too hot... .

Get the hose from Dodge or one of the online Mopar stores. I don't have the part number as I didn't find out about it till I read the install directions for the turbo. I recomend you plan on pulling the manifold to facilitate the install or go through what I did.

Turbo drain tube and gasket

For those that asked about the 3rd GEn's flexible drain tube:

Turbo drain tube for 2004. 5 is Dodge p/n 1-05135786AB

and the drain tube gasket is Dodge p/n 1-05086949AA

I bought my self an extra for future installs. You can probably get these from a Cummins dealer as well. I couldn't find the receipt and it's be awhile so I have no clue as what I paid for them.

PS The drain tube comes with the two O-rings.

Bill

Stage 3??!! :--) holy smokes! from what I hear the stage 2 is a monster itself. I think you should put wings on your truck, then it will fly!

I hope this is going to be a pulling truck or racing truck only. I already have one of John's modified Cp3's from Floor it and he and we have talked about upgrading me to the stage 3 pump, but it won't be very streetable to drive daily with that pump since it flows so much fuel. But if it does just fine, keep us informed. I would like to know. Have fun!

According to Brady he has been running this pump on his personal truck for several months..... So are you saying the Cp3. 4, or twin cp3's are not streetable??? They both put out more fuel than the stage three... It is going on my daily driver I will let everyone know how it performs... Just like every other performance part I put on my truck if it works great it stays if not it goes... . Wes

I guess I should have clarified myself. I own a lawn care business so I tow on a daily basis as well as plow during the winter. The stage 3 pump would be way to much for me while towing. I plan on making my current truck a racing only truck in the future, so I think I'm going to wait on the pump until then. Again, let us know how it performs.
