was going to install some SS brake lines from EGR today. I have 4 wheel ABS, so I was suprised to find that new lines didn't have any stand-offs (like the factory brake hoses) for the ABS wiring. I thought about cable-tieing the wire to each brake line, but the SS braid would rub through quickly. Any one else run across this problem? Or did I end up with the wrong kit?

I cannot answer your questions about experience with your lines or kit application. Maybe I can help you secure your ABS wiring though. Get some 5/16 or 3/8 fuel line and cut it into short (1/2 or 3/4) lengths. Run a tie wrap once through a proper length fuel line, around the brake line and back through the fuel line again. This will leave you with both ends of the tie wrap available to cinch your ABS wiring tightly, but not against, your brake line. The fuel line will act like a standoff. HTH
