Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
I'm looking for some ladder racks (the single side ones) that use the stake pockets to mount. I'm have a couple of kayaks and do not want to spend the big bucks for a speciallized kayak rack/carriers that are nothing more than a ladder rack with a fancy name.
I would like the kind that mount into the stake pockets so that I can still use my soft toneau cover while on trips so that my luggage etc doesn't get wet if it rains.
Most of the single side ladder racks that I have seen are in a good price range (less than 150) but they had brackets that mount on the side of the bed and the racks mounts into the brackets so you can not use a toneau cover with the racks installed.
Making them is the last resort as I do not weld very good so I would have to pay someone to weld em up with adds to the cost considerably.
any ideas.
