Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Stalling

My friend ownes a 96 dually. After warm up and some driving, his 96 has a tendency to stall. Any reasons why? It does start right back up. RPM's drop to around 400 and then it stalls. Any help would be appreciated.

The first think to check is idle speed. 750 to 800 RPM in gear with AC on for automatic transmssion. 750 RPM with AC on for manual.

Could be the fuel shut down solenoid not staying up, could be the fuel filter getting clogged and/or a low idle setting. Have those things checked and go from there.
