Archived Stalling

My 93 CTD is my daily driver to work and I have no other vehicle I can use so I could really use the help.



Starting last Friday the truck would stall when I was coming to a stop at a light. On this day it only did it once but it happens more and more. I replaced the Fuel Filter thinking that it might be clogged or have gone bad. But during a test run after replacing it the truck still stalls at about every other stop and feels like it is going to stall ever time I come to a stop.



Is this a Fuel Pump going bad?

what is it idling at. if idle is too low it will stall . seems i remember it has to be 800+OR - 50RPM. i dont have a 12 valve ,but have a friend that had the same problem. just increased the idle r. p. m. hope this helps.
