Here's a copy of a reply from DIS to my email I sent them this morning:

"The Stanadyne Performance Formula has been delayed indefinitely. We know that you have been delayed for a while now but we are doing everything we can to rectify the situation. We will e-mail the tracking number when it ships out.

Thank you again for your patience.

Regards,

DIS"

Anybody find another place to get this stuff? At least the delay has given me a chance to try other additives and I have found that I like Stanadyne the best. Anyone know what the delay's all about? :{

I have purchased it many times at the Cummins place in Ft. Worth, they keep it in stock and are good folks to deal with. I have never seen it for sale anywhere else. Maybe there is a Cummins shop in your area that carries it.

If not, you might be able to buy it online from a dealer, or you could call Cummins Southern Plains in Ft. Worth and see if they could ship you some - they are at (817) 624-2107

I ordered me a case of the 1 gal. jugs 1-3 and have not got it yet. I just called them yesterday and cancled my order. They told me the other day it would probably be another 3 wks was told several wks ago that they would have it in several wks. I think the problem is with DIS from what I was told by a diesel injection shop in Austin. They have plenty of it and they do not have any problem getting it. From what it cost me on shipping I was not saving that much. I see tractor shops around here have plenty of it too.

Yeah, I am about to cancel my order with DIS too. I wanted to try to order from Scheid Diesel, but it was after hours and I wanted to make sure it's in stock and not run into the same situation. I'll probably wait until Monday and call. I think I'll also try local. I would have tried already, but there's not a lot of diesel industry around here. Thanks for the help.

Darn, hoping DIS in Amarillo has some in 2 weeks when I go through again, down to my last qt. of the stuff. I always buy the 6- 1/2 gallon containers from them. Lasts me 5-6 months.

I get mine from SouthEast Power Systems in 5 gallon cans. About $105 a can. Good folks to do business with. Mike Franke is the parts guy at the Tampa location. Ask them and they CAN/WILL deliver.
