Ive been using Stanodyne in my truck for the last couple of years. But, this morning I was in a NAPA store, and the guy was trying to sell me on an Amsoil diesel additive that he says is better than Stanodyne. Does anyone have any experience with the Amsoil product ?

Thanks,

TRat

The Amsoil product just came out from what I've heard; so it's not too likely many have experience with it. I have also been using Stanadyne for years now, and I think I'll stick with it as I have been pleased with the results.

I used both and switched to the Schaeffers Soy treat this spring and am more than pleased with the results. Never saw any benefit from the other two.

Visit this page, Stanadyne Diesel Fuel Additives, and remember, Stanadyne manufactures fuel injection systems all over the world, and for many years has manufactured an additive that has worked in all brands of diesel fuel systems. They know what works from the front end of the engineering aspect, not having to try things from the re-engineering standpoint. You'll get as many opinions about fuel additives as there are people out there. If you find a product that you believe in, be happy in using it. If it works for you, then that's even better...
