We are in the market for a new 5th wheel camper, and I was looking at the Sunnybrook 27RKS, but the price is too high for us at this time. In looking at lower priced units, I am considering the Starcraft 260RKS. This is a low profile model, which appeals to me because of easier towing and less trouble in the tight spaces in the national forests. I don't think that the Starcraft construction (wood vs aluminum framing) is as good as the Sunnybrook, but it does seem OK. Does anyone have any experience with Starcraft? The normal discounted price from the dealer for the base unit is $18,900. With the RV market in the dumps right now, what kind of additional discount can I shoot for?
