After a short stop the truck wouldn't start. All lights, etc. working. Checked fuses and found a burnt ignition 30a fuse. Moved another 30a fuse (from wiper motor, it is dry in Austin this week) and that fuse blew also. Do I have a starter problem, a solenoid problem, a fuseable link problem or something else. Thanks team.

Could be the yellow trigger wire as it crosses the motor mount. Just before it connects to the starter.

In the past it has grounded out by rubbing on the motor mount bracket. Wrap it in electrical tape and secure out of the way. It can be viewed and accessed thru the drivers wheel well.

Thanks to JBallou!! I was able to return my newly purchased starter to AutoZone after my buddy/mechanic taped and secured the yellow wire that was grounded out on the motor mount bracket. Now I can focus on getting my Smarty Jr. which shipped today via USPS and installing a Home Depot CAI in the near future.

Thanks to JBallou. You saved another two! Just fixed my friends truck this way and saved him a pile of cash. Did cost him a couple of beers though...
