my 2000 ram blew a 20 amp starter sol fuse i replaced good for a few days. then it blows again i replaced it 2 times it runs for another day. I saw a tsb for installing a different wire or do you think its the contacts in the solenoid? can you check them without pulling starter and as i stated sometimes it will go days before blowing again

i tried it and it is still blowing the 25 amp fuse as well. I have not replaced the fusible link as described in the later tsb. I was not sure if it was that or the starter contacts. does anyone know if the fusible link described in the tsb will be performed like a recall if the truck is a 2000/

I replaced the contacts one was real thin seemed to do the trick>somebody told me that should be under warranty?its a 2000 with 51000 on it is it under warranty still?
