Has anyone heard of problems with the relays in the fuseblock? Every so often I turn the key to start the motor and get nothing. Everything else on the dash looks normal, just no cranking and no solenoid click. If I pull the relay and then reinsert it, or sometimes if I just tap it, the truck starts.
At first I thought this was a problem caused by the kill switch I had installed, so I removed the switch entirely until I could figure it out and the problem has not gone away, in fact it has increased in frequency. There are three of the same model relay (the larger one) in the fuse block of my truck, I rotated them thinking one was bad and it didn't solve the problem.
I found a source for the exact replacement relay (I work for an electrical supply company) and ordered three more ($2. 18 ea, I wonder what the dealer charges LoL) just to see if this solves it, but I was curious if anyone else had experienced this problem?
