Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Starter Solnoid Fix

While surfing ebay a month or so ago. I saw a guy selling a repair kit for the CTD starter solnoid. The contacts were 100% larger than orginals. The kit included a new plunger, spring and the contacts. As mine was working fine I just put that information in the ole memory bank. Wouldn't you know it, a couple weeks later "click, click" was the response when I turned the key to start one day. I called the parts house and they don't sell just the solnoid. So, back to ebay and luckily I found the site again and ordered the kit. Dodge even seems to start with a more positive nature. If any one is interested I'll go back to ebay and get the information again.

Thanks BV for the assist. I couldn't get on ebay yet. The only diffference to the gentleman associated with the TDR is that the ebay kit has a return spring included and is about $24 including shipping. I didn't know that someone from TDR was also selling this repair kit.

Thing that's nice about getting them from Larry is that you know for sure you're getting the right ones. Shipping is very fast also.

Unfortunately for Larry B I was not a member at the time I bought the ebay unit, I didn't know. I would and will buy the next one from him. I'm a firm believer is supporting our own.
