Starter trouble?

I dont ever remember reading anything on here about people having starter trouble. Has anybody had any? how reliable are the starters in the ISB?. Just curious?

EMD, there is not alot of starter problems with these motors. The starter I believe is a Nippon Desso(SPL) like the alternator and are very good. Now with that being said I will tell you that I had a starter replaced on my 94 Cummins after two years but I start my truck more in a day than most people do in a week... ... ... Pete
