Well, I've been lurking on the TDR for about a year now, and finally was able to meet a few of you great people at Sac Raceway last weekend. Of course, all that did was reinforce my itch to start BOMBing, so I figured it's about time to plunk down the cash for some gauges. Well, I just got off the phone with Ken... they'll be on they're way next week! :D

Here's what I got:

fuel pressure (0-30psi) with isolator (mechanical)

EGT

boost (0-60psi)

transmission temperature

I went with the white gauges with chrome bezel and plan to mount three of them in an autometer triple dash pod, and one in a single pillar pod mounted low to avoid obstructing my vision while 4 wheeling and negotiating tight turns.

The best part is that I lucked out on my timing, in that Di-Pricol just updated these gauges so that they're even nicer than the previous ones, which were gorgeous already. The first shipment is supposed to come in today or Monday. The new ones will have both illuminated dial AND needle. Special thanks to Ken who could have just as easily sold me the old style for the same price, but instead suggested that I wait a week for the new ones.

Well, I'll post pics when they get here next week, but I'm so excited!! Yeah, I know, gauges, whoopdi-doo... but as you all know, that's a landmark modification since it paves the road for more and more goodies! Of course before I do anything really serious I'll need the ATS/DTT/SC/ABC/XYZ (still deciding) transmission installed, but I have time. At least I'll have something fun to look at while I'm driving and waiting to win the lotto so I can get more BOMBs! Hey, I'm gonna have to come up with a tagline too!

Cheers,

Josh
