It was 40 degrees out this morning when I went out to start the truck. I went out and turned the key to run. Relays clicked, and then off and then on, and then off, and then on, and then off. It was like it wouldn't hold any of the relays on, and the voltage was about 9 volts. I tried to crank it and nothing happened.
I turned it off, and then immediately cranked it. It started right up and the check engine light was on. I went to advance auto to have the codes read (and probably buy some new batteries) but it wouldn't read any codes and it was starting up fine.
I went on to work, and went to start it after work. No issues whatsoever. The check engine light was still on. I did the key on off on off on and it cleared the check engine light.
So here I sit wondering what in the world happened.
Any thoughts?
In my 99, I'm supposed to be able to turn the key on off on off on and get teh codes on the odometer, right?
