Just started doing this, like it is losing prime. Should the 1/8 i.d. vent hose be open ? I cannot blow in or suck out any air. The tank goes woooosh when I remove the cap . Takes a day or two of sitting.

more information please. If there is an air leak in the rubber lines, or one of the connections that can happen. try hooking a compressor with a nozzle attachment to the rubber fuel supply hose and clamping off the return. If there is an air leak you will see bubbles. Only use 10-15psi. Either take the starter off or the tire/mud guard for access. The fuel system write up might have a diagnosis for that problem. Try and explain it as best as possible first so you don't waste as much time as I did.

The there is a relief/rollover valve in the tank module(near the the vent line). It apparrently opens to release pressure from tank and closes if you put truck on it's side or top.
The fuel cap also releases pressure but main job is to keep the tank pressurised.
