Pre-engineered steel building recommendation?

Interesting Sigfiles

I just saw this on Headline News...

State Farm Insurance Co. will not cover damaged automobiles as a result of a nuclear bomb.

That makes me feel better.

Just the other day

I got a letter from my farm insurance co that said they were selling terrorism insurance and it is partly backed by the gov. I think I will gamble and not get that insurance.

if life comes down to that, the only thing you will need is a firearm and ammo. take what you need and protect what you have!

Not that I dont love my truck or anything, but if it came to that... I kind of think that the truck(s) would be the least of my worries... .

Great! One more thing to worry about! :( ;)

I imagine if mine gets blown up by an A-bomb, I will be close enough to it that I won't worry about the coverage on the truck either.

Chrysler Financial Services can work out the balance due with the terrorist.

Re: Re: State Farm Ins Co. wont cover...

Look at this on a smaller scale, somebody sets off a dirty bomb, the dust blows toward where your truck is parked. Your not hurt, or even exposed to radiation, but there is radiation dust on your truck. The gov will not let you drive it to "blow the dust off". Your **** out of luck. You still own the truck, you still got to make payments on it, but your not even allowed to get near it to clean out the glove box.

Now they can take this one further. Say there is an event not even related to terrorism. A local reactor sprays out some crap and you live down wind (I live east of 3 mile island, and am old enough to remember that event).

Your truck is again lost, but you are still required to pay for it.

I realize most of you live away from the population centers out here on the east coast, but what if N Korea lobs a small nuke into the west coast, that stuff can carry pretty far, you might be far enough away that you can survive the attack inside, but your truck may be contaminated. (Wonder how well my Gino's cab filter will keep out radiation dust?) Your truck is taken away by the "man" and you can't have it back. But the banks back east here will still want there money.

Looking back, I think all my insurance policies say "not covered if the event is an act of war" After 9/11 the first thing Pres. Shrub said was "this is an act of war against the United States" The insurance companies could have picked up on that and canceled everybody's policy, but they did'nt. Now there just covering there Arss.

wonder how cheep this new insurance will be? You got a better chance of being hit by lightning, so it should not cost very much.

Come to think about it, they don't sell lightning insurance do they? :)
