Stats on 2002 2500 6spd ho

Purchased the truck in November and by Jan had it all decked out the way I though it should. A special thanks to all the infor that I got from the wed site. Here's what I did with the results. The truck has 3. 54 gears, short bed.



Purchased and install westech combo boost and egt.

Purchased and install westech fuel pressure gauge.

drill out to 3/16 the fuel line between the pumb and the fuel filter housing. Added a K&N filter removing the snorkel. Hooked up a 26 foot travel trailer and was pulling a hill 6 degrees grade.



Results: max boost: 28-29, max egt's 1050. speed never slower that 65 and stayed in 6th gear all the way. Gas mileage 14 pulling and 19-20 empty. Thanks again for information.

Boost ?

If that truck is stock, I am surprised by the amout of boost you are seeing. I would expect 18-20 lbs.

I agree on the questionable boost levels. Unless you left something out, this doesn't sound like stock readings.
