Status Code D1

I was at the dealer today and my truck is now 'D1' with an 11/25 date. For a whole bunch of reasons I need the truck in my driveway by the end of the year. Does anyone think I'll have a problem? TIA

I'd think you'd see yours in mid-late december.

Hope this helps, order date 8/22, estimated ship date 10/02, truck shipped 10/7. Dealer said I should see it first week in November. Shipping time app. 3-4 weeks from Mexico to Long Island New York

Order on 9/20 dealer thinks I should have it by mid Dec. I don't know the status code just called the dealer for up date.

According to the information from another Dodge/Cummins site, code D1 means:

SCHEDULED:

gateline schedule-scheduled to be built.

One could speculate that the date it went to a D1 code would be the date production would begin, but I guarantee nothing.



I've wondered if the longshoreman's strike on the west coast will delay the build of these trucks. Wonder if there isn't some little part needed to complete the build sitting on a ship waiting to be unloaded?
