Just finished a few upgrades and a bunch of preventive maintence on my truck. I now notice once it's up to operating temp that there is constant steam and water vapors dripping from crankcase vent. Upgrades were turbo, injectors, marine gasket, pump mods. I took the side cover off and replaced gasket while doing everything. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks

I presume the marine gasket is the head gasket? If so that would be something to check. An oil anaylisis might be in order to make sure. A radiator shop can check the cooling system for combustion by products which might help figure it out. Good Luck

i used a . 020 thicker marine head gasket, spent 2 hours cleaning the deck surface of the block, torqued it to cummins specs. and now theres antifreeze in my oil after 10 min's of run time:mad: , do i drain the antifreeze and oil, loosen all the bolts and retorque? or take the head back off and see why it's leaking????

Well i drained antifreeze and oil, loosened all the head bolts and retorqued to cummins specs. Vacuum tested the cooling system and it held fine. After 100 mile drive today everything seems fine. For some reason the gasket didn't seat or seal the first time?
