Steel Rim Discoloration

I was wondering if anyone else has noticed the front rims having a orange discoloration (maybe from heat or brake dust). My truck has 16k on it and the rims already are stained. I was wondering with 4 wheel discs, why wouldn't the rear show the same discoloration. Suppose this is a warranty issue????

It's just brake dust and it's more prevalent on the fronts because most of the breaking is dun there. Go to an auto supply joint and get a bottle of wheel cleaner - it takes that stuff rite off.

Thanks for the info. I had tried cleaning with soap and water before with no avail. I have never seen orange brake dust before, thus the concern. Thanks again.
