2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Steel straps for the useless cupholder.

I was reading my latest issue of TDR that I finally got today!Oo. Oo. Oo. One guy listed a few mods he had done to the interior of his vehicle after he got it.



One listed was that he installed some steel straps to the sides of his cup holder. That way your drink actually stays there. I think I'm going to try that before I throw down $35 + shipping for Geno's cup smoothie. Even though I'd love to have the Cup Smoothie I don't think it will clear with my Eaton Fuller gear shift knob. :{



I was just wondering if any of you had heard of this fix for our un-usable factory cup holders.

Try this... . https://www.turbodieselregister.com...xact_match=on&photo_size=full&query=retrieval it will clear your shifter, and you can also flip-up you console without catapultin' your dinks.

Geno's Smoothie

Got Smoke -

My Eaton knob clears the smoothie from Geno's pretty easy. Only when a monster drink is in there do I have to put her into Reverse gently.

So I take it no one knows what the guy was talking about regarding using steel straps on the cup holder???
