Steerin box?

2004 quad cab 4 X 4 with a steering box leaking. Who makes a n aftermarket one? And is this the right forum to be in asking this ????? Thanks

I have been reading that people have gotten good results with "Redhead" steering boxes. I don't have a link to them but if you use it for a search maybe it will come up.

I recently installed one of these steering boxes. I also installed a Defiant steering box stabilizer. Between the two, my steering is much tighter. Mine was leaking from the "cap" on the top (the plate that housed the adjustment screw). Disappointing that it crapped out at 60,000 miles; but the 34" toyos probably didn't help me out either.



Between the box, stabilizer and ball joints my truck steers better than new. Redhead is awesome to work with; ordered box Monday, received box by Thursday. I took the time to change out all of the fluid with Amsoil ATF as well.
