My steering box leaks right at the output shaft that connects to the pitman arm. Is there a replacment seal that I could buy? If so anyone have any part numbers to save me some time?

Mines doing the same thing. I figured I'd just replace the whole gear box. After 220k miles it's probably pretty wore out.

You can get the seals. I had to rebuild mine back when the truck had about 15,000 on it (I was sick of the dealer). I do not have the part#s, but the seals were available from Dodge, and were not too expensive (there are 3 seals, each one can be purchased individually).

I have over 140,000 on the truck now, and I have not had any leaks come back on the steering box.

Thats good, as long as i can get the seals. The truck only has 120,000 and i dont want to fork over the money for a new box.

Mine started leaking from same place about 4mo after I took delivery. The same dealer that did first (free!) oil and filter change that left the oil filter so loose it was backing off it's threads managed to swap out a new box under warrantee in an hour and have had no trouble with it since then.
