Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Steering box

I had to replace the steering sector on my 99 2500. After completion it wouldn't work. After reading the directions, it states the *******/dealer has to bleed the system with a special machine. Is this correct or is there a way i can do it. thanks

Noooooo, not the dealer! Did you replace the whole box? If so, filling the pump and turning the wheel back and forth should work the air out and she'll be fine. I did mine in the driveway and had no problem at all. Greg
