Anyone have any feedback on the genos reman box? I think it's the borgenson one. I need to replace mine and I run big tires and plow snow so looking for one that can do the job. Thanks :)

I have a borgenson box, steering shaft & the lower box to frame brace yet to install soon.

Ive done alot of research on this set up & cant wait for the difference.

But I dont have your answer about reman or not

However---Ask this same question in "2nd gen NO ENGINE & TRANS" and I be you'll get the correct answer right quick.

I had the Borgenson box installed in my truck earlier this year and so far so good. The truck is not my daily driver anymore. With the box installed you get what I call true power steering, the wheel turns very easily and that took some getting used to. I also had the steering shaft installed and all the ball joints replaced. It was money well spent, made a huge difference. Good luck.

just installed the borgenson box and steering shaft on my 02' with 160k miles, I cannot believe the difference, a good upgrade for anyone to consider

Improvement but....

(This is the the wrong forum for this topic, so I will cross-post) However, I installed the Borgensen Box from Geno's, as well as the shaft... . definitely an improvement from the old box that was knocking every time I hit a bump... However, even though everything in the front suspension has been replaced except for the Upper and LCA bushings, there is still at least ,two-fingers' of play in the steering wheel. NOT what I had expected...
