Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Steering Boxes etc

I drive a 2002. 5 CTD now but in my past life I had a heavily modified V10, with 37" tires and a custom steering set up I designed. It would track steady hands off the wheels at 80 MPH, had 150,000 when I sold it on e-bay. Had 7" lift etc. Lee's racing in Calif rebuilt the steering box and replaced all the parts with race quality. Stay away from AGR, they sent back my first box with a lousy one that lasted 3000 miles and fell apart, also I highly suggest replaced the steering shsft with one of the ball bearing units.

Could you post or PM me the contact info for the place that setup your box? Also, did you do anything with the steering linkage, or was it just stock?

I'm interested in the place also, as I've worn out the stock one and an AGR box is going out now..... not wanting to waste more money for another crappy box.

. . if ya don't mind. mine has some moderate slop in it as well. se my post about steering and wander from the other day. i am gonna need a new box soon.
