I have a 03 3500 4X4 and when I turn the stering wheel all the way to the left or right and move I have a loud clunk or metallic sound in the front end This is in 2 wheel drive, I have been all under the truck and have tightened all suspension components. The truck drives straight and I am not seeing any wear on the tires, Truck only has 9600 miles on it. Forgot to mention I have a 2" front end spacer on the coils. Any ideas?

Sounds like bad a U-joint to me. Sometimes they make a clunking noise when you apply torque. Either that or a steering box, but if the steering isn't sloppy then it's probably okay.

There is a steering stop and it sounds like you are up against it with the wheel turned all the way. Then when the suspension moves even slightly up and down you can hear the steering knuckle rubbing against the stop vertically. Try backing off the stop just slightly and trying it again.
