Steering Column Lock

Do the 2500/3500 come with a steering column lock? I looked in the owners manual and it said "if so equipped". Does anyone have this on thier truck? Mine does not work if its supposed to?

I don't think they put them in anymore. My 2001 Duramax didn't have it. I like it without it.

I have an 03 hand-shaker and there is a button I have to push in to remove the key. I think having to put the auto's in Park serves the same function of not getting the key out until they think you are ready!
