I am needing to change the tie rod/end on my truck. Truck is a 2006 ram 2500. I have been to 3 parts stores in my area and all three seem incapable of providing what I need with by referencing the make and model. Based on my truck, and the photo I'm attaching, can anyone tell me the part numbers I should be looking for? Preferably moog parts if anyone knows.
thanks in advance for any info.

You probably can't find the right parts because that is not the original steering linkage. At some point in the trucks life it was upgraded to the "T" steering linkage instead of the "Y" that the truck came with. Mopar sells it as a complete replacement kit.

I took a quick look on rock auto and it looks like there are aftermarket replacement parts for it, look for the ones that say "bracket mounted steering stabilizer" (yours) vs. "tapered hole steering stabilizer" (y-type).

Thank you for the info, that would definitely explain why they can't seem to match it. I'll search out what you described.

That parts you need are generally referred to as 2008.5 Upgrade in the parts lists.

Except for Autozone that messed up greatly and sells these as normal - and the old Style as 2008.5 upgrade.

There are also 2 kind of tie rod ends at the steering gear depending if that was upgraded to from 4-bolt to 6-bolt.

I put this Moog problem solver kit on my 2005 3500 several thousand miles ago. beefy parts, greaseable joints, damper and pittman arm included. I had to grind a notch in my origin pittman arm with a slitting disc to get it off. I did not want to hammer on the steering box output shaft. This part fits your truck too, verify it though.

This looks just like the set up my local shop put into my 2006 2500 last year...
