2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission steering damper removel

ok been under truck 1 hr. how do you get the damper off the drag link? book says use a puller----- but the end w/o a nut is peened over the bushing so its just pulling on itself. thanks

Air chisel with forked end. I ran into the same problem. Anti-seize is King!!

have an air chisel, but no forked end. looks like I will be running to autozone or someplace to get one. thanks for the info. now I understand how that puppy comes out. will give it a good beating in the morning.
