NAPA offers a replacement drag link for the 4x4 version. It can be installed backwards :( It binds severely when installed backwards and it binds slightly when installed in the correct orientation. Does anyone else know of another supplier other than a Dodge Dealer? Please post a reply or PM me.

THANKS!!

Skyjacker offers an adjustable model for our trucks. This will be the one I goto next so I can get my turning radius the same both directions. It is pricey though at $190 bucks or so.

Speaking of the drag link

I'm changing out my drag link on my 4X4 today. . Looking at the manual . it says to connect the short length befor the bend to the knuckle and the longer length to the pitman. . I bought my truck used a few years ago and it seems there was a drag link put on in reverse. . Is the manual right ?. . I'm not sure wether this link was ever replaced before... Thanks for any help.....

got it at a local parts store. . says made in USA on the box. $50. not sure who made it though... . there are actually two bends in the link. . one up and down and one side to side. I put it on both ways finger tight just to witness the difference. . Boy, it binds up pretty quick when installed backwards..... Thanks for thr help...

1st gen steering is completely different than the 2nd gens, but the same theory applies in making your own link.

I thought of buying the correct TREs and threaded inserts from somebody like PartsMike and making my own as well.
