Can anyone tell me the diameter, thread size and length of the bolts for the steering gear box.
I have a 93 4x4 Thanks in advance.

Wish you'd have asked a couple months back when I swapped steering boxes.

I'll try to see if I have spare bolts and if I do, will update this thread.

Unless the stainless bolts are really high quality, I would personally stick with the excellent, graded factory bolts.

I believe they are 5/8 size and except For ARP bolts stainless will not be hard enough for that application I would only use grade 8 hardware

Steering gear bolts are 9/16" USS (Coarse thread). Use Grade 8 bolts. If you use lock nuts, use all steel, not Nylok.

Sorry, instant replay. The bolts on my '92 W-250 are 7/16" coarse thread that hold the gearbox to the adapter plate. The bolts that hold the adapter to the frame are 9/16"
