Just curious if anyone knows how to tighten up the steering gear on my truck. I've got the top cover off the unit, after taking off the four bolts and the one nut that connects to the "internal shaft. " I'm not too sure how to proceed, and I can't seem to find anything on here about it. I'm working on the truck right now. My steering shaft, where it enters the steering gear, is fairly sloppy, and I'm thinking it's contributing to the overall looseness of the steering. I've got a luke's link on the trackbar and also a new bushing, so that's not the problem. My tie rod ends are fairly new, and not needing to be replaced. The truck seems to wander while driving on uneven surfaces, and this is the only solution that I can think of... I don't want to spend $200 at Napa just to waste it on the wrong part. Can someone help? Thanks!

Do you have an AGR steering box, an AGR Super Pump or both? I've had some leak and install issues trying to get my pump\gear setup dialed in. I'd be interested to see how your install has gone and any issues you've had to resolve.
