2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Steering Linkage

Anyone have their steering linkage scrap across the differental cover? My track bar and tie rods where replaced about a month ago and I kept noticing a drag on the wheel making left hand turns. Looking at it the tie rod link hit the front cover on the turn.



How to fix? I will talk to Dodge tomorrow and maybe have them replace the bar. I'm going on a 6,000 mile trip and I don't need any surprises.

Mine has lightly brushed the diff. cover since new. The dealer told me it was normal on some trucks. It dosen't hit hard enough to do damage, but I feel it can't be a good thing.
