Steering lock not working

This past week my key would not turn my tumbler over to start my engine.

After trying several times it finally did turn the tumbler.

Its been a couple days and I have not had anymore issues, although I have

notice that the steering wheel no longer locks when engine is shut down.

Should I be concern and what advise can anyone give me on a fix?

I appreciate any info you could give me. Thx

I had some issues with mine a couple of months ago. The dealership had the parts to rebuild the switch. It seems that the tumblers or whatever parts wear out and need replacing. The cost was somewhere between $20 to $30. All they need is the key, they pull the switch out and rebuild.

my tumbler works fine but my wheel refuses to lock. any known issues?
