I HAVE A 97 3500 ,60. 000 MILES THE STEERING IS GETTING FLOATY ESPICALLY WHEN THE ROAD HAS A LARGE CROWN ON IT. SEEMS TO GO AWAY WHEN I HAVE THE 9. 5 FT CAMPER ON THE BACK OR THE 24 FT ENCLOSED CAR HAULER ON .
THE LEFT FRONT TIRE SHOWS SIGNS OF CUPPING ON THE OUTSIDE EDGE. RIGHT SIDE TIRE IS OK. THE STEERING WHEEL IS TURNED TO THE RIGHT SLIGHTLY WHILE DRIVING STRAIGHT DOWN THE ROAD
COULD IT BE THE STEERING GEAR BOX ?
OR THE STEERING SHAFT
IS THERE A WAY TO TIGHTEN UP THE STEERING GEAR BOX ?
