Just read the article in TDR about BD/s steering box support. Trailer Life also had a article.

Anybody besides John Holmes tried one?

Is anybody offering a deal on them?

I have had one on my 94 since before they hit the market and added one to the 05 when they were finished. They do a good job of getting rid of the flex of the sector shaft,With bigger tires it helps even more. I think the cheapest price you will find now is on the PSC unit

Put the DSS on my 99 a few years ago, I wished I would have done it when I bought the truck in 01 w/75 k on it. Excellent bang for the buck and saved me the $ of having to replace the steering box, I caught the play in the sector shaft before the seals leaked/bearing went. The steering is very tight and correct - still can't find an alignment shop in my area that can set the front end correctly though #@$%!

Is the DSS still being sold? I had one on my 2000 and need one for my 06. I two believe he invented them and the rest of them stole his idea. I would like to go with Darin.
