2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Steering system diffrence between an 00 and 01

What changed on the steering system between the 2 years?

Thanks Bob I am asking because the Dick Cepek lift that I want says an 01 and newer has a diffrent steering system than a 00 and there steering system wont work on the new ones.
