Greetings, my question is how do you drop the steering tie rod on the drivers side? Sorry if it sounds like adumb question but i have never removed one of these. The purpose is to install a differential cover on the front. (4x4)( Mag-hytec).

Thanks DN

When I did mine I just loosened the nut on the driver side tie rod end until the nut was flush with the end of the stud. Then I used a shallow socket on a 3" extension over the nut/shaft & gave it a good rap with a hammer & it popped right loose. I cant say yours will be that easy but I hope so. Good luck.
