2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Clockspring options?

Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Need a refresh

Second. If everything else (including the steering shaft) seems tight, then it's almost definitely the suspension bushings, especially if they have over 100k miles on them. A crowbar applied to them won't show anything unless you can apply (almost literally) a ton of force on them.

I replaced the stock 1999 front axle with one I rebuilt out of a 2002 3500. installed a Red head steering box new steering shaft. After three years no more wobble or crown chasing.

As far as suspension bushings I’m pretty sure they have over 320,000 miles on them the 3500 as far as I know already has the t style streering linkage at least both of mine do . Whats the recommended steering shaft replacement now I used a Dorman in my one dually it had a cheap leaf spring that fell out upon installation. I did a steering box brace and a cheap reman steering box that helped for about 3 weeks and then it was sloppy again . Is a red head steering box a good upgrade
 
Best things I did for mine were
1- 3rd gen adjustable track bar
2- Top Gunz Customs tubular control arms
3- Steering Stabilizer
4- PSC steering box, cost more than any other but is not a rebuild. It is much larger due to larger sector shaft bearing and top bearing too. *Cannot be used with steering stabilizer brace due to size of box. Box is larger in diameter and sector shaft than oem.
Put a good amount of $ to get steering correct. Anyone who drove my truck, especially other 2nd gen owners, commented on how tight steering seemed. Not bragging just saying.

I am on hunt for a new intermediate shaft too, I guess I can cross Dorman off the list, and because of the attachment the Borgeson one isn't prefered (I have heard of them coming off), I am looking for OEM, but apparently discontinued and unobtainium. The one PSC sells is a Borgeson, unsure of quality on the Redhead one.

As far as steering boxes, I am thinking either PSC or possibly giving Plews & Edelmann a shot, which is also a new box with a 100 year/1,000,000 warranty. Geno's sells both currently. While PSC is probably good, I would have to ditch the steering brace I have currently.
