Getting cold up here in Colorado... went to turn on the steering wheel heater and it kept going off... next am it staid on, like usual.... not a critical issue but I like everything to work... anyone run into this before?
Mine was doing the same thing. Ended up being a broken wire in the steering wheel connector. Replaced the clock spring & the harness both. The harness goes to all of the buttons & heating element.
Looks just like the failure mode on the rear door harness(s) on the 3rd gens... Glad to see FCA is consistent with the electrical wiring issues, would be way to much cost to add higher strand count wire on a $60~90k truck
