I've got a question on whether after market cd/radios can replace the OEM cd/radio that is connected to the steering wheel volume controls. Will any aftermarket cd/radio work with the steering wheel volume controls? Which ones will? Any help you can provide will be most helpful. Thanks!;) ;)

Steering Wheel Radio Controls

Sorry I don't know the answer to this but I bet I know who will. Call Crutchfield at 1-800-955-3000 or go online at crutchfield.com.

I've made purchases from them before and found them to be reasonably priced, knowledgable and stand behind their products. Even when I ruined a product during a careless install, they replaced it for free and paid shipping both ways.

Let us know if you do find a unit compatible with our steering wheel controls and good luck. dp

Soundgate makes a converter box that interfaces the factory steering wheel controls to several brands of aftermarket radio. Crutchfield carries these products, although they don't advertise it. You have to ask the rep specifically for it, and even then it may take a minute for them to realize it is in their sales lit. I'll try to post the manufacturers website below:

Good luck,

Thanx for the addresses, Chris.

I've been wondering about this too. I love those steering wheel controls.
