step by step how do I change my brake pads

I need to put pads on just to get me by untill I can upgrade my brakes

The Easy 12 Step Method

• Carefully drive down to your favorite brand auto parts store.
  
• Buy a Chiltons or Haynes manual.
  
• Purchase needed parts while there. (This step may be very important if you take your truck apart and have no alternate transportation)
  
• Remember to pay for parts before leaving store.
  
• Stop by Quik Mart, or something to that affect, and purchase required quantities of Soda Pop or other preferred beverage.
  
• Carefully drive to buddies home and persuade him to help.
  
• Very carefully sneak out so buddy's wife doesn't get wind of another "project". :-{}
  
• Carefully drive home.
  
• Safely park truck and using such items as emergency brake, transmission, and chocks make sure the truck will stay put. (You might want to read the "bonehead things I've done" threads to refresh your memory).
  
• Have your buddy read the appropriate manual steps, or get the neighbor kid depending on which part of the country you come from (No, I didn't say W. V. :-laf ) to accomplish the necessary task at hand.
  
• Remember to remove the truck from the jacks before test driving.
