step mounting hardware

I bought a Aries step kit for my 2014 2500, the kit uses four body mount bolts for the brackets. The new bolts are longer but are weaker 4.8 m12 , the oem bolts are 10.9 m12. Are the 4.8s okay to use or should I get 10.9s ? Also what is the torque value for the 4.8 bolts vs the 10.9 bolts ?

I don't think I'd downgrade from factory hardware.
