Stereo volume problem..help please.

Greetings everyone!! I am at a loss here. I have a 2005 ctd. The stereo volume one day started acting up. You would turn it to 12 and then it justs starts turning down...I pulled it an put another one it, only this time with a 6 disc changer rather than the single disc...about a week later it started again (this was a used unit). I thought okay, its used and I had another that I pulled from my 2005 dodge daytona ram a month after I bought it new. I kept it boxed up in case I ever wanted to sell the truck and pull the aftermarket one. Virtually brand new. I installed this one and YET again there goes the radio volume!!!!!!!! Everything else on all three units work perfectly.

Does anybody have any ideas? I believe it's my wife...she drives it the most and I think its her luck. I would just buy an aftermarket one, but?????

No, it does not.

Truck starts fine.. Could it be battery issue?.... Just thinking..
