Forum delays?

I just noticed that post #25 (as of 02:13 Phx time) is time stamped at 11:39 p. m.

What happened to all the posts in between? I wouldn't even have noticed this except that I posted some stuff around 8:30 p. m. and it didn't show up for the last 15 minutes or so.

I can still read those posts if I use the links I saved so they are still on the forum.

EDIT

post #25 is "Silencer Rings" and #26 is "WHAT is up with that??" at this particular time. 0219 hrs...

Okay, just to make this all the more confusing...

Several posts have been made. The posts for #25 and @6 keep changing as they should.

what doesn't change is that anything posted between 11:39 p. m. or close to it and 6:15 p. m. will not show on the forum.

Now to make it even odder, My post "Steve: Something weird going on" is not showing up in the TDR Website Roundtable at all.

It sounds like you have a cache on your computer (internet speedup software?) and it's loading the thread list from the cache. Did you install some speed up software recently? Try holding your shift key down and hit refresh - that will sometimes bypass the cache and reload the page.

No Steve, nothing like that. I am on a DSL line at 640/256.

The PC has not been shut down since that time. When I came back in again at 0800 everything was working fine. And again about 0930 all was good.

What didn't make any sense is that stuff was sliding "into" and "out of" that time frame.

I just felt that when i made that post it woud draw some reactions. And it didn't when I checked it with the link. Then I did a "check last day's new" and it didn't appear in the listing. The time frame was between the end of page 1 and the beginning of page 2.

I also had exited the browser many times and restarted it which clears the cache out. That didn't make the time frame in question restore either.

Just for grins, I have reset the "recheck page" option to everytime, but I hate that... . much too slow when backing up.

I generally always open threads with "in a new window". That way I just close the window and I see the original listing again.

Oh well, seems to be okay now anyway.

Strange though... .
