And no, my transfer case has not imploded. :D

After a mere 299 Days (9 months and 24 Days) I have successfully extinguished my 5 yr / 100,000 mile powertrain warranty on my 2018 RAM 4500 Cab & Chassis.

I’ve been very pleased with the overall performance of this rig......and I’m looking forward to the next 100,000 miles of service.

In celebration, White Lightning is getting 3 gallons of Delo 400 LE 5W40 synthetic, a new Fleetguard FS53000 fuel filter, a new Fleetguard FS20089 separator, and maybe even a new Fleetguard air filter, if warranted.

Attached are a few pictures as well....

How have the 19.5 tires worn and handled for you? Which ones have you run, beside the Continentals? BTW, I PMed you on another subject.

Congrats! Always cool to hear positive news about the RAM product. Especially from an owner who is "road warrior" and "tow master". Awesome!

Not sure about the road warrior or tow master parts.....But White Lightning gits-r-done, day in and day out, reliably.

Congratulations! It has been a while since I have been on here. Why did you go up to a 4500 and not just keep with 3500s? As from what I have read are detuned. Is there a substitute now for the fuel filters? I have been running Mopar filters. But I see that you run Fleetguard FS53000 fuel filter, a new Fleetguard FS20089 separator. Congratulations again. Thanks for the tip on the Bridgestone tires for the 3500. They are holding up great.

FleetGuard Makes all the filters on the RAM trucks, EXCEPT the fuel filter under the truck that one is make by RACOR. FleetGuard and RACOR both re label for MOPAR. Stick to these for the BEST protection possible and warranty coverage.

BUT be sure to get the FLEETGUARD - STRATAPORE ('89-'18, 6.7L & 5.9L) - LF16035 as the MOPAR oil filter is NOT a Stratapore!

Yes. It is rated really well. I have been using it since my first oil change.
DBL7349’s got The Radio Flyer to 362k miles......and White Lightning has been running DBL7349’s since the first oil change.

It might take a while to find the specs (I posted them over on CF) but they flow so much better and their micron rating is better as well.

LF16035 is 25um absolute. The Donaldson DBL7349 is 15um absolute and the best in the industry as far as filters for our ISB is concerned.
When the OEM cartridge style filter housing went TU on my 67 Land Cruiser I adapted it to a spin on type and use the DBL7349 (as well as on my truck).
There is nothing wrong with running the Fleetguard though. Both are excellent filters.

Copied and pasted the specs I found over on CF....

Look at the huge gap in capability of the Donaldson in regards to GPM.

Donaldson filters flow better and filter down to a better micron rating.

Wix 57620 30µ @ 95%, 20µ @ 50% Cellulose 12-15 GPM
Wix 57620XE 25µ @ 95%, 14µ @ 50% Glass Enhanced Cellulose 12-15 GPM
Fleetguard LF3972 30µ @ 95% (35µ @ 98.7% last info) Cellulose 8.72 GPM
Fleetguard LF16035 30µ @ 100% (25µ @ 98.7% last info) Stratapore Synthetic 8.72 GPM
Donaldson ELF/DBL7349 20µ @ 100%, 15µ @ 98.7%, 7µ @ 59.97% Nanofiber Synthetic 20 GPM
