I got an old guy here in town with the right rear brake sticking. I told him to come in sat. and we'd look at it. It dosen't stick on pavement, just on snow and gravel roads. What could it be?

Could be a leaking axle seal putting differential fluid on the brakes. Replace both the bearings and seals if you don't want it to happen again. It's best to replace the brake shoes too instead of trying to clean them. This is the voice of EXPERIENCE.

yep yep, i had the same problem. the right rear tire would stick, it was worse after the truck had been sitting for a bit and if i had applied the ebrake while it was parked. it'd losen up once you got going but a pull could still be felt, especially shifting between 1/2 and 2/3 gears.

like McCram, replaced the ebrake cable.
